Oh boy! My last full day in Tegucigalpa was a crazy full day of sight-seeing, conversations, and lots of walking. I'll try not to type too much, but still give an accurate description of stuff. I've also gotta give props to my buddies David and Jared for driving me around all day. Thanks guys.
We began at one of the oldest cathedrals in Tegucigalpa. Unfortunately, it was closed to the public, so I could only take photos from the outside. It was impressive nonetheless.
Many of the government buildings were vandalized after the old president was kicked out of the country. The country has since voted and elected a new president, but there are still people who do not recognize that there is a president. I ran into some of these people outside of the National Museum of Art seen below. I actually thought they were gonna rob me at first. Haha. A man came up to me and began to explain to me that the walls spoke volumes every day. It was interesting to hear what he and his group had to say. They were more than happy to let me take their photo. I thought I was going to get arrested, so I snapped them quickly.
